چکیده
In this article we introduce line Smoothness-Increasing Accuracy-Conserving Multi-Resolution Analysis. This is a procedure for exploiting convolution kernel post-processors obtaining more accurate multidimensional multiresolution analysis in terms of error reduction. filtering-projection tool allows the transition data between different resolutions while simultaneously decreasing errors fine grid approximation. It specifically defining detail multiwavelet coefficients when translating coarse onto finer meshes. These are usually not defined such cases. We show how to analytically evaluate resulting convolutions and express filtered approximation new basis. done by combining filtering with projection operators that allow computational implementation scale procedure. Further, can be applied piecewise constant approximations functions, as it provides demonstrate effectiveness technique two three dimensions.

Graph Layout Techniques and Multidimensional Data Analysis
ABSTRACT. In this paper we explore the relationship between multivariate data analysis and techniques for graph drawing or graph layout. Although both classes of techniques were created for quite different purposes, we find many common principles and implementations. We start with a discussion of the data analysis techniques, in particular multiple correspondence analysis, multidimensional scal...
متن کاملMultiresolution analysis on multidimensional dyadic grids
We propose a modified adaptive multiresolution scheme for representing d-dimensional signals which is based on cell-average discretization in dyadic grids. A dyadic grid is an hierarchy of meshes where a cell at a certain level is partitioned into two equal children at the next refined level by hyperplanes perpendicular to one of the coordinate axes which varies cyclically from level to level. ...
متن کاملInnovative Techniques for Recognition of Faces Based on Multiresolution Analysis and Morphological Filtering
In this paper, we introduce two new methods for face recognition of frontal images. The methods combine the well known Karhunen-Loeve transform with morphological and subband analysis. The use of this kind of analysis contributes to better discrimination between different images. Morphological and subband approaches are compared while the former is a non linear method and the latter a linear on...
متن کاملDependency Coefficient in Computerized GALS Examination Utilizing Motion Analysis Techniques
Objectives: The GALS (Gait, Arms, Legs and Spine) examination is a compact version of standard procedures used by rheumatologists to determine musculoskeletal disorders in patients. Computerization of such a clinical procedure is necessary to ensure an objective evaluation. This article presents the first steps in such an approach by outlining a procedure to use motion analysis techniques as a ...
متن کاملCorrelative visualizaton techniques for multidimensional data
Critical to the understanding of data is the ability to provide pictorial or visual representations of those data, particularly in support of correlative data analysis. Despite the advancement of visualization techniques for scientific data over the last several years, there are still significant problems in bringing today's hardware and software technology into the hands of the typical scienti...
